Typo-motion Part 2 - Phones

After the "Wazzup" I came across another opportunity to use a visual representation of the word "Phone." When Shorty says "Yo, Pick Up The Phone," I thought of having a phone that was facing down, that then turns on it's side like it's being picked up. This is an easy task. All I did was do a few keyframes and rotate it a little bit each time until it was vertical. I then had the word "Wazzup" come out of the top part of the phone, seeing as that is the one that you hear from.

I admit that the "Wazzup" part did not go very well. The words appear from behind the phone at the start and the vCam zooms in too much that the phone becomes squashed for a split-second.

I also done a similar effect again in the animation, except I used the Mini-Mob phone and I never rotated it. I decided to zoom into it with the vCam. But this time I managed to improve on the mistakes I made previously. I made the words look like they were appearing out of the phone, not coming from behind it. This made it look more effective. Furthermore, the phone never got squashed whilst using the vCam.
