Typo-motion Part 2 - Starting The Animation

After all my planning I then got straight into the start of my animation. The first thing I need to do was draw a mini-mob. I got an image off of Google and used it as a template. I convert the picture to a symbol and then lowered the Alpha. This allowed me to draw over the picture whilst being able to see all of the lines I have drawn. After drawing and filling in the colours, black & dark grey, I then needed to do the buttons. Seeing as I wanted to animated the buttons so that they change colour, to give the appearance like they are being pressed, I needed to put each button in a separate layer. At first I had tried to keep all the buttons in the same layer as the phone. But this proved to be more time consuming than having each in a different layer. This is because I needed to add the keyframes at all different points in the timeline, this then made the layer filled with too many keyframes and making it confusing to which button they belong to.

This is what my phone turned out to look like. You can see how I tried to replicate the mini-mob as much as possible and how one of the buttons has turned blue to show it has been pressed. Also at the top right you can see the word "Typo-motion" appearing at the top corner.

This little animation proved to be tougher than I thought and it took me a few tries to get the phone working and in time with the sound. But eventually I got the phone working with no glitches or complications.
